Huge mystery monolith is mistaken for UFO after appearing on Welsh hill

Walkers have been left bewildered by a wierd 10ft monolith that appeared on a hill in Wales.

Craig Muir got here throughout the alien construction, which really turned out to be a shiny, silver monolith – a big single upright block of stone – throughout his common hike up Hay Bluff, in Powys, Wales, on Tuesday.

Mr Muir, who lives in Hay-on-Wye and is in his thirties, mentioned: “When I first saw it, I was a bit taken aback as it looked like some sort of a UFO.

“It seemed like a very fine metallic almost like a surgical steel.

“The steel structure was almost 10 feet long and looked perfectly levelled and steady, despite the weather being windy.”

Since there is no strategy to drive as much as the highest of the hill, Mr Muir prompt it might have been taken by a bunch of individuals or dropped off by the helicopter within the actual spot.

“It didn’t seem like it was chucked in there, instead it has been accurately put in the ground,” he mentioned.

“However, there were no obvious tracks around it and one would think that there would be a lot of mess around it, but there wasn’t.”

This is not the primary sighting of a mystery monolith as they’ve been seen throughout the UK and Europe lately.

Social media customers together with TikTokers and Instagrammers have beforehand captured related large buildings in the Isle of Wight, the Merry Maidens stone circle in Cornwall and some remoted elements of Europe.

The mystery has induced a stir on social media, with customers speculating on what the tall metallic rectangle may very well be.

Sue Brittain joked on Facebook: “Hopefully these aliens will be able to fix the potholes.”
