Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit towards an El Paso doctor this week for allegedly providing sex-change hormones to youngsters in violation of a state statute. 

Paxton introduced the lawsuit towards Hector Granados, a pediatric endocrinologist, Wednesday, arguing Granados is “harming the health and safety of Texas children by providing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to children.” 

Paxton says such actions are in violation of a Texas regulation that prohibits “medical providers from prescribing certain gender-affirming treatments, including puberty blockers and hormones, to minors to assist them to medically transition,” in accordance to the assertion launched by Paxton’s workplace.
