Scientists have revealed an astonishing new image of the black hole on the center of our galaxy.

The image was created by the scientists as half of the Event Horizon Telescope collaboration. That produced the primary image of a black hole – when in 2019 it produced an image of the one on the coronary heart of the M87 galaxy – and adopted it in 2022 with an image of the one on the coronary heart of our Milky Way.

Our galaxy’s Milky Way is a thousand instances smaller and fewer huge than M87’s.
