The Design Museum in London is about to host the first solo UK exhibition devoted to the famend Italian designer, Enzo Mari.

Curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, the creative director of Serpentine, and Francesca Giacomelli, Mari’s studio challenge assistant, this intensive retrospective spans Mari’s 60-year profession, showcasing over 300 objects that embody the spheres of artwork, design, exhibition and graphic design. A pioneer of post-war Italian design, Mari’s life and work have impressed generations globally. The exhibition, organised chronologically, reveals the evolution of his work, from furnishings to conceptual installations, product designs, and graphics.
