Celine Dion has stated that dealing with her Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) diagnosis has been one of the “hardest experiences” of her life.

The Canadian singer, 55, has stated she “deeply grateful” for the assist from her household and followers as she marked SPS Awareness Day by sharing a photograph of herself with her three sons on Instagram.

In December 2022, Dion revealed that she had been recognized with SPS – an autoimmune and neurological dysfunction that causes rigidity in the torso and limbs – and subsequently cancelled her world tour.

To mark SPS Awareness Day, she despatched phrases of encouragement to others residing with the situation and stated she is set to in the future return to stage and “live as normal of a life as possible”.

“I am deeply grateful for the love and support from my kids, family, team and all of you!

“I want to send my encouragement and support to all those around the world that have been affected by SPS. I want you to know you can do it! We can do it! Love Celine xx…”
