A thriller object that crashed onto a Florida home final month was from the International Space Station, Nasa has confirmed.

The object, weighing about 0.7kg (1.6lbs) and 10cm (4in) tall, was a part of gear from the space station that tore by means of a home in Naples on 8 March.

It had ripped by means of the home’s ceiling and torn up the flooring.

The home’s proprietor Alejandro Otero advised native tv on the time that he was on vacation when his son advised him what had occurred on the home.

“I was shaking. I was completely in disbelief. What are the chances of something landing on my house with such force to cause so much damage. I’m super grateful that nobody got hurt,” Mr Otero advised The Associated Press.

The object was then taken to the Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral for additional evaluation.
