The spokesperson added the university is “dedicated to upholding the law. Last year, we implemented a comprehensive framework of measures and protocols to ensure we meet those legal obligations effectively and responsibility.

“We admire the chance to make clear this false impression as a result of it isn’t correct in anyway,” the spokesperson said. “Texas A&M is following the brand new legal guidelines. DEI-related job duties have been eradicated throughout the university. “A pair dozen positions university-wide carried various DEI-related tasks, with none exceeding 25% of their general duties. The Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness group collaborated with supervisors to take away all DEI-related duties and create new tasks for these workers.”

Harrison told Fox News Digital Republican lawmakers in Texas are working to make sure universities are not able to skirt the anti-DEI law.

“We have all these leftist Marxist professors, and I would like to do away with them,” Harrison told Fox News Digital. “Because I do not need my constituents being pressured to pay for that. If anybody needs to go research this leftist rubbish, they will do this. But my constituents are not going to pay for that, over my useless physique.”
