A drink driver faked being attacked by police unaware he was being filmed on an officer’s bodycam.
Footage exhibits Andrew Vickerman, 42, failing a roadside breath check, when pulled over by South Yorkshire Police officers in Sheffield.
Vickerman began to accuse them of violence, alleging that he had been punched within the face and kicked in his genitals.
Body-worn video recording his arrest and time with officers confirmed how Vickerman ask officers ‘do you have a camera?’ earlier than throwing himself on the ground, making false allegations and swearing.
Vickerman, from Newcastle, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on 28 February and was disqualified from driving for 18 months
