Britney Spears’ ex-husband Sam Asghari mirrored on their relationship after the previous couple cut up following 14 months of marriage final yr.
The 29-year-old actor and mannequin and the 41-year-old pop star tied the knot June 9, 2022, after 5 years of courting. Asghari filed for divorce from Spears in August 2023, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The former couple’s date of separation was listed as July 28, 2023.

In his divorce submitting, Asghari requested for spousal assist and lawyer’s charges. Asghari’s latest remarks on his marriage to Spears come as he prepares to celebrate his 30th birthday March 3. During his interview with People, he shared his thoughts on aging.
“I used to suppose people that have been 30 years outdated have been so outdated after I was in highschool,” he said. “But each individual I speak to, the older they get, the extra they get to get pleasure from life as a result of with age comes knowledge and experiences.
“And I think experiences in life are beautiful, so that’s something that I’m just super excited to just be fulfilled with.”

Asghari informed the outlet he’s centered on sustaining a “wholesome way of life.” In December, he revealed he had misplaced “35–40 pounds” following his cut up from Spears, based on a report from Page Six.
