The leader of the Forest County Potawatomi tribe on Thursday referred to as on Wisconsin lawmakers and different state leaders to search for bipartisan options to issues together with human trafficking and reasonably priced housing.
James Crawford, chair of the Potawatomi, delivered the annual State of the Tribes address in the Assembly chamber. He thanked lawmakers for working to improve Medicaid reimbursements for tribes, guarantee entry to indigenous meals, and cross payments designed to improve reasonably priced housing and make foster care extra enticing and reasonably priced.
