Although Romney has not endorsed his successor, he mentioned that Washington wants “a new generation of leaders” and slammed each President Biden and former President Trump’s insurance policies in his retirement announcement. 

“Utah is fortunate to have several candidates who are interested in serving in the Senate, and Senator Romney appreciates their willingness to serve. He is staying out of the race,” Liz Johnson, Romney’s chief of workers, advised Fox News Digital.

The Republican Senate main election in Utah shall be held on June 25, 2024. The common election shall be on November 5, 2024.
