The U.S. Supreme Court is about to hear arguments on whether or not former President Trump will likely be on the Colorado presidential major ballot.
The justices stated they may hear the case on an expedited foundation, with arguments on Feb. 8.
“The petition for a writ of certiorari is granted. The case is set for oral argument on Thursday, February 8, 2024,” the choice stated. “Petitioner’s brief on the merits, and any amicus curiae briefs in support or in support of neither party, are to be filed on or before Thursday, January 18, 2024.”
The highest court docket stated that the briefs are due by Jan 31.

The historic hearing will consider the meaning of the 14th Amendment barring some people who “engaged in revolt” from holding public office.
The amendment was adopted in 1868, following the Civil War.
