Kansas Governor Laura Kelly vetoed a bill Friday that may have banned transgender treatment for minors within the state, in addition to two payments imposing abortion restrictions. 

Substitute Bill for Senate Bill 233 sought to outlaw transgender treatment for minors and permit for causes of motion in opposition to healthcare suppliers who supplied such treatment. The bill would even have restricted the usage of state funds for transgender treatment.
