A “fireball” lit up skies in New Jersey days after the complete photo voltaic eclipse and the earthquake.
Residents reported the brilliant gentle in the night time sky on Wednesday (10 April) to the American Meteor Society.
One lady wrote on the non-profit scientific organisation’s web site that she was washing her arms in the kitchen when she noticed a vivid inexperienced flash falling from the sky.
“There wasn’t any long trails or anything, but it did fall and disappear,” she stated.
The fireball sightings got here days earlier than the Lyrid meteor bathe due on 22 April.
