A fireplace outside the office of Sen. Bernie Sanders in Vermont precipitated minor injury however no accidents, the Burlington Fire Department stated Friday.

Firefighters responded to a name Friday morning and located a fireplace between the vestibule, the elevator and the doorway door of Sanders’ third-floor office in Burlington. Though there have been no accidents, the office door suffered average hearth injury and far of the third flooring sustained vital water injury.

The Burlington Fire Marshal’s office, Burlington Police Department, and Vermont State Police have been on the scene. The investigation of the trigger was ongoing.

A spokesperson for Sanders didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark. It was unclear if Sanders was in Vermont on the time of the fireplace.
