Healey’s workplace says the brand new necessities come because the state’s emergency household shelter system, which homes migrant households with youngsters or homeless pregnant girls, has been overwhelmed for months.

Jon Santiago, secretary of veterans companies for Massachusetts, mentioned, “This project operates independently and will not impact the daily routines or services at the Massachusetts Veterans Home at Chelsea.”
There are 240 households residing in the safety-net websites, whereas 7,500 households reside in the state’s emergency shelters.
