Croatia’s parliament was dissolved on Thursday to pave the way for a parliamentary election later this year.

All 143 of a complete of 151 lawmakers who have been current on the session voted in favor of the transfer.

The date of the election is but to be set. Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic has recommended it needs to be held earlier than the vote for the European Parliament, which will probably be held on June 6-9.
