A suspected Second World War bomb was detonated by the military in Merseyside on Tuesday, 12 March, after it was found in a park.
Locals had been urged to keep away from The Dips in New Brighton because the machine was destroyed in a managed blast by specialists in the afternoon.
It was not the one bomb found in the realm that day – Merseyside Police acquired a report of an unexploded machine in Birkenhead, the Liverpool Echo reported.
Officers confirmed each gadgets had been safely detonated by the Army’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).
