FIRST ON FOX: A conservative activist group is bracketing Thursday’s State of the Union with an advert slamming the Biden administration over the current homicide of 22-year-old Laken Riley in Georgia by the hands of an unlawful immigrant.
Building America’s Future launched a $700,000 tv advert purchase with two advertisements blasting the Biden administration on immigration that will air in key markets in battleground states together with Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.
“Laken Riley should have been able to go on a run,” the primary advert, titled “Run”, states. “In broad daylight, without being murdered by an illegal immigrant, but Joe Biden promised not to deport illegal immigrants.”
The advert then exhibits a clip of Biden on a debate stage saying that unlawful immigrants whose solely crime is coming into illegally shouldn’t be “the focus” of deportation.
“Biden vowed not to detain illegal immigrants who cross the border” the advert continues, earlier than displaying one other clip of Biden saying that migrants shouldn’t be detained whereas ready for a listening to.

The ad comes as Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin is facing pressure to reject signing a bill on his desk that would strengthen the 340B program which critics say would in turn subsidize illegal immigrant healthcare.
Biden will deliver his State of the Union address on Thursday night as poll after poll shows that illegal immigration is the top issue with voters across the country.
For the first time since Monmouth University began polling the issue in 2015, the majority of Americans now say they support a border wall.
According to the same poll, 61% of Americans say immigrants seeking political asylum at the border should be made to stay in Mexico while their claims are processed and 61% of voters say illegal immigration is a “very major problem.”
Additionally, a current Fox News ballot confirmed that 71% of voters suppose Biden has principally failed at “bettering border safety.”
