Police removed two Just Stop Oil protestors who glued themselves to the Royal Courts of Justice in London on Wednesday, 6 March.
Footage posted to the organisation’s X/Twitter account exhibits protestors blocking the doorway to the courtroom, with police rubbing their arms with an anti-adhesive substance.
In a press launch, Just Stop Oil stated the protest was to spotlight the “injustice of peaceful injunctions being used to silence peaceful dissent in the UK” as well as to demanding the federal government finish all new fossil gas initiatives.
The Independent has approached the Metropolitan Police for remark.
