Conservative and SNP MPs have walked out of the Commons chamber in an obvious protest over the Speaker’s dealing with of the Gaza ceasefire debate.

Commons Leader and Tory MP Penny Mordaunt mentioned Sir Lindsay Hoyle had “raised temperatures” and put MPs in a “more difficult position” by deciding on Labour’s bid to amend the SNP movement calling for an “immediate ceasefire” in Gaza and Israel.
