American author and Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison was born on this day in historical past, Feb. 18, 1931.

Morrison was born the second of 4 kids in Lorain, Ohio, and was given the start title Chloe Anthony Wofford, in keeping with the National Women’s History Museum.
