Russian vacationers have been seemingly the first international travellers to head to North Korea since the coronavirus pandemic.

The group flew to the remoted state from Vladivostok airport in Russia’s Far East on Friday (9 February).

They will go to Pyongyang and go snowboarding, Inna Mukhina, common director of tour firm Vostok Intur, informed The Associated Press.

Many Russians battle to journey to Europe and the US due to sanctions positioned on Moscow over the invasion of Ukraine.

South Korea’s authorities stated it has no report of North Korean state media studies of vacationers coming into the nation since the pandemic.
