A BBCQuestion Time audience member defended Nicola Sturgeon after the previous first minister confronted criticism for deleting WhatsApp messaged on her cell phone.
The feedback appeared to seek advice from the time the Covid Inquiry spent discussing the use of WhatsApp through the pandemic and the deletion of messages.
On Wednesday (31 January), Ms Sturgeon stated she didn’t preserve messages on her telephone for safety causes from 2007 onwards, and instantly confirmed that she had deleted the messages.
Scottish Conservative chief Douglas Ross accused the previous first minister of “destroying vital evidence”.
The Question Time audience member described criticism of Ms Sturgeon as a “witch hunt.”
