Woburn Safari Park has introduced the arrival of a feminine Asian short-clawed otter pup, a member of a species weak to extinction.

The pup was born to first-time mom Beatrix and father Kovu on the Bedfordshire park.

Being a member of the smallest otter species, the tiny pup weighed solely about 50 grams at birth eight weeks in the past, and was roughly the dimensions of a golf ball.

Visitors can now spot the pup, Beatrix and Kovu of their purpose-built Otter Falls enclosure on the park.
