Two ladies have died and a baby was taken to hospital following a fire at a home in Scotland.
Emergency providers had been referred to as to the scene on Back Hilton Road, Aberdeen, at round 6pm on Monday.
Police Scotland stated the 2 ladies had been pronounced lifeless on the scene whereas the baby was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution however has since been discharged.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service despatched seven home equipment and two specialist items to the scene and extinguished the blaze.
Neighbouring properties had been evacuated as a precaution whereas emergency providers handled the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “A joint investigation with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“However, there are no apparent suspicious circumstances at this time.”
The highway was closed for a time however later reopened after the fire was extinguished at round 9pm.
