28-year-old Lauren from Philadelphia made the resolution to finish her journey on The Bachelor early.

During the second episode of season 28, which aired on Monday (29 January), Lauren, the older sister of fellow contestant Allison, made the surprising announcement that she was bowing out of the competitors.

After ready the total evening to talk with Joey, she sat down with him and informed him that she was in a “bad mood” about the delay.

In an anti-climatic second, she informed him that she can be leaving the present. “If my dad were still here, he would’ve told me not to go on this show,” she says in anger after smashing a complete cake to the floor.

Earlier in the evening, Lauren was invited to affix Joey and 7 different girls on the first group date. Dressed in marriage ceremony robes, the girls met with Joey and celebrated a gaggle marriage ceremony reception.

After the group date, Lauren opened as much as Joey about the robust feelings that the faux marriage ceremony reception had introduced up. She informed him that she had lately misplaced her father, and celebrating a faux marriage ceremony reminded her that he wouldn’t be round to have a good time at her precise marriage ceremony.

Later that night, Daisy gained the first one-on-one date with Joey, taking a helicopter experience to a music competition in Los Angeles.

In a latest interview with E! News, Joey opened up about the forthcoming Fantasy Suites episode, admitting that it was a “very tough position to be in”.

The Fantasy Suites episode usually comes after the Tell All episode, which reunites the Bachelor with the girls he’s already despatched residence. It’s a time for the Bachelor to spend the evening with every of the three closing girls one-on-one, with out the cameras and microphones. The episodes have usually been the most dramatic of every season.

“I was kind of warned about that, I’ve heard it in the past,” Joey mentioned about the on-line chatter that ceaselessly comes from followers after the Fantasy Suites episode.

“And for me I just tried my best to, again, be aware that I was going to hopefully be watching this back with my forever person,” he continued.

The Bachelor airs Mondays on ABC starting at 5pm PT/8pm ET, with episodes out there to stream on Hulu the subsequent day.
