Hundreds of folks carrying flaming torches swarmed spherical a Viking boat in Shetland to rejoice the Up Helly Aa festival on Tuesday, 30 January.

More than 1,000 torches had been lit as two processions, one within the morning and a second within the night, passed off in Lerwick.
