Supreme Court sides with Biden in Texas border razor wire case

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday sided with the Biden administration in a case involving a razor wire fence alongside Texas’ border with Mexico. 

The courtroom’s resolution permits Border Patrol brokers to chop concertina wire that Texas had put in alongside the border. The wire had been put in as a part of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s broader battle with the administration over immigration enforcement and makes an attempt to stem the historic circulation of migrants throughout the border since Biden’s time period started.

In a 5-4 vote Monday, the justices granted an emergency enchantment from the Biden administration, which has been in an escalating standoff on the border with Texas and had objected to an appellate ruling in favor of the state.
