UK needs to be ‘ready’ for war – Grant Shapps

Defence secretary Grant Shapps has mentioned that the UK needs to be “prepared” for war.

Earlier within the week Mr Shapps mentioned that the nation was “moving from a post-war to pre-war world” and that “our adversaries are now more connect with each other”.

Speaking to the BBC, Mr Shapps instructed Laura Kuenssberg that the UK “needs to be prepared” as tensions rise within the Middle East.
