One in every 15 vinyl records sold in the US last year was by Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift dominated vinyl gross sales in the US last year, with the pop celebrity accounting for one in every 15 gross sales.

That made 2023 the third straight year that Swift was the top-selling act on vinyl. In 2022, one out of every 25 vinyl albums sold was by Swift.

According to studies in Billboard, last year 49.61 million vinyl albums have been sold in the US, a rise of 14.2% from 2022 when 43.46 million have been sold.

Of all the records sold in 2023, 3.484 million have been by Swift – 7% of the business’s whole. The subsequent greatest vendor was Lana Del Rey, with 646,000 copies sold.
