Fiona Bruce and Andrea Leadsom had a tense alternate as they mentioned inaction over the Post Office scandal throughout Thursday’s (11 January) Question Time.
The programme’s host clashed with the Conservative junior minister and Northamptonshire South MP after she claimed politicians had been campaigning for justice for subpostmasters “for a very long time.”
“But it didn’t happen, that’s the point,” Bruce responded.
It comes after attorneys advised The Independent that a whole lot of subpostmasters who haven’t made claims could also be too “traumatised” to return ahead due to distrust within the authorities and Post Office.
